Privacy Policy
Kinder World - Kids Learning App | Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 26, 2026
At Kinder World, your child’s privacy and safety are our highest priorities. We have designed this application to comply strictly with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Designed for Families program requirements.
This Privacy Policy outlines what information our app collects, how it is used, and how we ensure a safe environment for your children.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not require you or your child to provide any personal information to use Kinder World.
- We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses from children.
- We do not collect precise geographical location data.
- We do not collect the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID). We have explicitly disabled this capability within our app to ensure maximum privacy.
2. Information Collected Automatically
To ensure the app functions correctly and to help us improve the educational experience, we use third-party services that may automatically collect limited, non-identifiable information.
A. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (by Google)
We use Firebase to monitor app performance and identify technical issues (like app crashes).
- What is collected: Anonymous usage data (e.g., which learning modules are played most often), device type, operating system version, and crash logs.
- Purpose: This data is strictly used for internal analytics to fix bugs and improve the educational content of the app. It cannot be used to identify your child.
B. Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Because Kinder World is part of the Designed for Families program, we have strictly configured our advertising settings to be child-safe.
- No Personalized Ads: We do not serve personalized or behavioral advertisements. Ads are contextual and do not track your child's past behavior.
- Family-Safe Content: Ads are filtered to ensure they are appropriate for all ages (Max Ad Content Rating: G).
- No Ad Tracking: As stated above, we have disabled the collection of the Advertising ID, ensuring advertising networks cannot build profiles on our users.
For more information on how Google handles data, please review the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Local Storage (Device Data)
Kinder World allows parents to create local profiles (e.g., entering a child's nickname and avatar) and saves learning progress (such as quiz scores).
- Where it is stored: This data is saved locally on your device using a local database (Room).
- Data Sharing: This local data is never uploaded to our servers, shared with third parties, or transmitted across the internet. It exists purely on your device for your convenience.
4. Parental Controls
Kinder World includes a Parent Portal designed to be accessed only by adults. This portal is protected by a PIN code to prevent young children from accessing settings or inadvertently interacting with external links.
5. Security
We value your trust in providing us with your child's information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. All data transmitted to our analytics providers (Firebase) is encrypted in transit.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
